Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we?

First and foremost you should know something about me.
I like puns.
A lot.
Hopefully if you’re reading this, you do too and you’re not wincing at my username.
My name is Bailey Page, so there’s ample room for a pun on writing. Some friends pitched in and boy oh boy are they creative. I filtered through some that include but are not limited to: “Bailey’s Page,” “Bailey on the Daily” (which I considered until I realized that it’s also the Instagram account name for a beagle), “The Fair Trade Page: Ethically Sourced Ideas,” and lastly, my personal favorite of those I rejected…”Bailey’s on the Rocks.”

But no, I chose “betterbaileveit” because it is rooted in two things I value deeply: belief and name-puns.
My belief in Jesus Christ has formed who I am, where I’ve been, and where I’m going.
Seeing as I have a severe case of wonderlust, it’s my hope that the “where I’m going” portion of my life is not limited to where planes, trains, and automobiles can go but wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

Where He sends me, I intend to go. Here and there I’ll learn and teach whatever I can because truly, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
It’s my goal through this blog to ramble about what He’s done in my life through my experiences of travel, meeting new people, alone-time, and food.
Food is so important, y’all, can I get an “amen”?

It’s my hope that you can read this and think, “Golly-gee, maybe a home-schooled Christian girl can actually make it in the real world without floundering awkwardly or angrily clobbering her personified rearing against a brick wall.”

So here goes nothin’.
